Ever since the 2019 madness, I've found myself working from home far more often. Meanwhile, my partner has been far less active, while I’m still very much in need. 

The tricky part? Whenever I try to head out solo, I'm met with a round of questions about where I'm going and why. 

I’m looking for a bit of freedom—and maybe even a meetup around Kent. Any ideas on how to make that happen?  

Well, you're on a good path. Visit forums and other community boards to meet people. I'm pretty much sure there are plenty of people with the same ''problem''.
