Anyone having trouble with fake profiles? 

yea ive been having problems with fake agencies if that counts 
will write a longer post on that subject 

but ive had a bad experience with fake independents, those scammer arseholes that is why i switched to agencies 

however, looks like a lot of scammers are present in this business

tip for the guys going for independents, always call and hear their voices and if they want gifts like gift cards, some kind of deposits, ibay, itunes cards... avoid at all costs, those are scammers! they will try to fool you with texting sexting at whatsapp, but know that its not a hot girl writing and sending nudes but some fatass nigerian

Yes, must avoid independent escorts. I already learned my lesson on this and I only booked girls with agencies, trusted agencies.
